Ganda boys donate medical equipment to Kawolo hospital
KAMPALA, UGANDA (New Vision) – The UK-based Ugandan singers popularly known as Ganda Boys because of their Ganda Foundation have donated two medical-theatre operation tables, each worth $15,000, to Kawolo Hospital in Lugazi.
The Ganda Boys previously known as Da Twinz together with world music specialist Pruess Craig will be in Uganda next month to finalize arraignments for their first show in Uganda with the Nnabageleka Development Fund. While here they will also do some charity work for the Ganda Foundation at Kawolo Hospital.
The duo will be handing over the tables to the management of the hospital on April 24, 2012. The singers got the tables while singing at a function organized by the Church of England. They were invited to a grand performance by Reverend Daniel Kajumba at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.

Ganda Boys impress at Cancer patients fundraiser
THE United Kingdom-based Ugandan musicians known as Da Twinz, who later changed to Ganda Foundation, basically to do charity related works, held live music performances in Stroud Wiltshere in South West England, recently, to fund raise for Cancer Patients in Uganda.
It all started at exactly 7:30pm UK time at Minchinhampton and the show was in aid of the Ganda Foundation and the Katalemwa Cheshire Home. The co-organiser Clara Hadson who was raising funds for the Katalemwa Play Ground was very humbled to team up with the band to create such an exciting evening.

News from the highly successful Ganda Foundation Dinner
The GANDA FOUNDATION was born a year ago!
We celebrated our anniversary with a very special event:
In the presence of the UK High Commissioner of Uganda and the beautiful Miss Uganda,
the Foundation held a FUND RAISING DINNER -
We raised funds for a new operating table for Kawolo Hospital, near Kampala, Uganda.
The current old and dilapidated bed has been used by thousands of people every month for 40 years, and due to its poor state, it has contributed to an appalling number of unnecessary deaths. This issue has featured extensively in Ganda Foundation film coverage, helping world-wide awareness of the urgent need for new equipment at Kawolo Hospital.
Here are some pictures from our uplifting event -
